Kentucky College of Optometry Chooses RevolutionEHR for Electronic Health Record and Practice Management Solution

RevolutionEHR is pleased to announce its partnership with University of Pikeville, Kentucky College of Optometry (UPIKE KYCO). UPIKE KYCO will utilize RevolutionEHR in the classroom and clinic to serve the rural Appalachia community.

 “The RevolutionEHR cloud-based software is ideal for the classrooms and clinic within Kentucky College of Optometry,” said Cliff Caudill, OD, FAAO, Assistant Dean for Clinical Affairs.  “The ongoing training and support, which includes a sandbox environment, provides a flexible and easy solution for both students and clinic staff to learn the software before the clinic is open.”  Cindy Braden, VP of Sales added, “We are excited to partner with UPIKE KYCO students and staff and support their vision of providing exceptional and accessible clinical care to the rural communities of Central Kentucky.”

About University of Pikeville, Kentucky College of Optometry:  The Kentucky College of Optometry is the fourth college under the University of Pikeville banner and reflects the institution’s mission of service and strategic initiatives. The American Council for Optometric Education has granted the Kentucky College of Optometry the pre-accreditation classification of “Preliminary Approval.” The University of Pikeville is the 22nd school in the country to have a college of optometry. Construction was recently completed on a new educational facility to house the Kentucky College of Optometry. Sixty students will be admitted per class for a total of 240. The university expects to provide for the underserved in Central Appalachia and other rural areas of the country.
