MyRev Mobile App Provides RevolutionEHR Doctors with Instant Access to Patient Schedules and Information
(Madison, WI) June 27, 2013 — RevolutionEHR, the leading provider of cloud-based practice management and electronic health record (EHR) software for the optometric community, is thrilled to announce MyRev, a mobile app for RevolutionEHR customers.
MyRev, the first app offered from RevolutionEHR, was announced today in San Diego, CA at the American Optometric Association Optometry’s Meeting during a press conference.
“We are confident MyRev will place more freedom in the hands of our users,” said Scott Jens, OD, FAAO, Chief Executive Officer of RevolutionEHR. “Especially for doctors who want to check their schedule or patient profiles while away from the office.”
MyRev enables users to check their patient schedules, and access patient information right from their smartphone. The mobile application is fully HIPAA-compliant by utilizing the same encrypted protocols as the full RevolutionEHR application.
“This is the beginning of a mobile era that will lead doctors to more flexible work time, better focus on patients, and participation in life and business with minimal need for overlap,” said Dr. Jens. “The app gives our doctors complete insight into their patients.”
The MyRev app will be available on iOS for iPhone and Android. Free downloadable versions will be available soon from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
