RevolutionEHR Ranks 7th in Wisconsin on the Inc. 500|5000 List with a 553% Three-year Growth Rate

(Madison, WI) August 20, 2013 — RevolutionEHR, the leading provider of cloud-based practice management and electronic health record (EHR) software for the optometric community, announced Inc. magazine ranked the company No. 816 on its exclusive ranking of fastest-growing private companies in America. This places RevolutionEHR 7th on the list for Wisconsin companies and the 70th fastest growing software company in the country.

This marks the second consecutive year that RevolutionEHR has made the prestigious list.

“We are thrilled to once again be recognized by Inc. for our continued growth,” said Scott Jens, OD, FAAO, CEO of RevolutionEHR. “As a Software-as-a-Service company, our growth is the direct result of efforts to expand our reach as well as a laser focus on maintaining our 98% customer retention rate”.

Since RevolutionEHR’s founding in 2006, the company has continued to deliver innovative technology for optometrists in all 50 states and Canada. RevolutionEHR’s myRev, a mobile app that enables doctors using RevolutionEHR to access key practice information from their mobile devices, is the latest example of this innovation.

As an Inc. 5000 honoree, RevolutionEHR shares this prestigious recognition with other corporations such as Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Jamba Juice, Timberland, Clif Bar, Pandora, Patagonia, Oracle, and dozens of other notable recent alumni.

“Make no mistake: The Inc. 5000 was harder to get into this year than ever in its history,” said Eric Schurenberg, Inc. magazine Editor-in-Chief. “The median company on the list increased sales more than 140 percent since the start of 2010, while the average honoree grew a mind-boggling 468 percent. Those are results most companies could only dream of in the economy of the past three years.”

Recipients of the esteemed honor will be celebrated at the 32nd annual Inc. 500|5000 Conference and Awards Ceremony, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Washington, DC on October 10-12, 2013.

Methodology
The 2013 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2009 to 2012. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2009. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2012. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2009 is $100,000; the minimum for 2012 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.’s September issue. They represent the top tier of the Inc. 5000, which can be found at www.inc.com/500.
