RevolutionEHR TO PROVIDE INTEGRATED VSP AUTHORIZATION AND CLAIM FILING

RevolutionEHR, optometry’s first web-based PMS/EHR, announced today that they have signed a Practice Management Partner agreement with Eyefinity/OfficeMate. RevolutionEHR will provide users with seamless VSP authorizations and claims via Eyefinity’s Practice Management Interface, expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 2008.

Scott Jens, OD, FAAO, CEO of RevolutionEHR, stated, “We are excited about our new Eyefinity partnership. RevolutionEHR users are looking for a tightly integrated solution that provides VSP authorization and claims filing directly from within our web-based practice management and electronic health record application. The Eyefinity Practice Management Interface enables RevolutionEHR to deliver this capability to them in a completely web-based implementation.”

Eyefinity/OfficeMate President and Chief Technology Officer Steve Baker reflected on the new partnership saying, “We are pleased that RevolutionEHR has signed on as a Practice Management Partner. RevolutionEHR is delivered to optometry clinics as “Software as a Service” (SaaS) and the interface between this web-based office solution and Eyefinity’s web-based service is a novel step. This effort represents one of the first such internet-only connections for Eyefinity, and will allow RevolutionEHR users to continue to enjoy the real-time, access-from-anywhere benefits of the SaaS model along with integrated VSP authorizations and claims services.
